KILLINGLY — Gracie Anderson and Daniela Roy scored four goals each and Wheeler High/Grasso Tech beat Killingly, 10-4, in an ECC Division III girls lacrosse game on Tuesday.
PUTNAM — Wheeler High used a strong pitching performance in the first game and a big inning in the second to sweep an ECC Division IV softball doubleheader against Putnam on Tuesday.
MONTVILLE — Maddie Perkins put Wheeler High ahead with a two-run single in the top of the seventh and the Lions went on to St. Bernard, 15-12, in an ECC Division IV softball game Thursday.
GROTON — Nolan Arruda won his match at No. 1, but the Wheeler High golf team lost to Fitch, 5.5-1.5, at Shennecossett Golf Course on Tuesday in the season-opening match for both teams.
