WILLIMANTIC — Jacob Geary scored 23 points and grabbed 17 rebounds, both career highs, helping the Stonington High boys basketball team to a win against Windham, 85-63, Friday night.
"It was the best game of his career," Stonington coach John Luzzi said. "Our plan was to feed him early and often because Windham is not too big inside."
Geary, a 6-foot-4 senior center, also blocked three shots.
Stonington led by nine points at the half, 42-33, and outscored the Whippets, 25-10, in the third quarter.
