MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — Cheshire defeated the Eastern Connecticut Eagles, 3-2, in a Division II ice hockey tournament game on Monday at Wesleyan University.

Evan Tower had a pair of goals for the Eagles and Rylin Fowler made 26 saves.

Students from Stonington High and Wheeler High are among those on the team.

The Eagles finished the season 12-8-1.
