WESTERLY — Tori Gabriele and Ava D'Ortona combined for a no-hitter and the Rhody Wave Runners 12U travel softball team picked up a pair of wins Sunday at Cimalore Field.

Gabriele struck out four batters in two innings and D’Ortona struck out six in three innings in a 9-0 win against the Chariho Sea Devils. Ella Keegan finished with two RBIs and a double.

The Wave Runners beat the North Kingstown RipTide in the second game, 6-4.

Keegan and Lyla Auth had back-to-back singles in the first inning to give the Wave Runners a 2-0 lead. A Jett Cronin single and a double by Sara Arnold in the third made it 5-1. Auth, Gabriele and D’Ortona each pitched and combined for eight strikeouts.

Keegan, Auth and Cronin each had two hits.

The Wave Runners play next Sunday at 10 a.m. against Stealth and 11:30 against the North Kingstown RipTide.
