FOXBORO, Mass. — The Shoreline Surfers, a fourth-grade, Westerly-based AAU basketball team, won their division at the Mass Premier Courts Spring Tip Off last week.

The team finished 3-0 with wins against the Massasoit Warriors, 41-34, High Hoops, 41-32, and the Blazers, 37-23.

Greg West averaged 11 points per game, Tyler Falcone 9.0 and Grady Auth 6.0. Liam Jacobson led the team in rebounds and assists for the weekend.

West and Ben Eaton scored early baskets in each game, while Falcone and Logan Cronin pressured the ball on the defensive end.

The Surfers will compete in the Rhode Island Breakers Tournament next weekend in Johnston.
