MYSTIC — Mystic pounded out 13 hits, including six doubles, to down Ocean State, 8-5, in a New England Collegiate Baseball League game on Wednesday at Fitch High.

Vincent Martin (UMass-Lowell) doubled twice. Steven Barmakian (George Washington), TT Bowens (Central Connecticut), Jerome Huntziner (Seton Hall) and Nolan Kessinger (UMass-Amherst) each contributed a double.

Barmakian, David Beam (East Tennessee State), Bowens, Hutzinger and Martin finished with two hits each. Beam lifted his average to .373. Matthew Toke (Seton Hall) drove in a pair of runs.

Ryan McLinskey (Seton Hall) pitched the first 4⅓ innings, allowing six hits while striking out seven. Reliever Daulton Montagna (East Tennessee State) pitched recorded two outs in the fifth and picked up his first win of the season.

Ocean State dropped to 7-16, while Mystic moved to 12-7.
