GROTON — Ben Maycock singled home TT Bowens with the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning lifting the Mystic Schooners past the New Bedford Bay Sox, 7-6, in a New England Collegiate Baseball League game Saturday.

Maycock (Connecticut) also homered. Bowens (Central Connecticut) scored twice.

Mystic (18-14) tied the game with a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth on a two-out double by David Beam (East Tennessee). Beam doubled twice in the game.

Jerome Huntzinger (Seton Hall) and Steven Barmakian (George Washington) finished with three hits each.

Nicholas Robino (Wagner) pitched the final inning to earn the win.

Brandon White (Southern Connecticut) entered the game in the first and pitched 4-⅓ innings finishing with seven strikeouts.

New Bedford dropped to 10-23.
