GROTON — Vincent Martin hit a three-run double in the first inning and a two-run single in the third to spark the Mystic Schooners to an 11-4 win over the Keene Swampbats in a New England Collegiate Baseball League game at Fitch High on Monday.

Martin (UMass Lowell) finished 2 for 3 and scored twice to go with his five RBIs. Jerome Huntzinger (Seton Hall) added three hits and one RBI, and Isaiah Byars (Alabama) had two hits and three RBIs for Mystic (16-8, first place Southern Division), which led 6-0 after four innings and 8-3 after five.

Starting pitcher Trey McLoughlin (3-1) allowed three runs on five hits and three walks in five innings. McLoughlin (Fairfield) struck out seven.

The Swamp Bats (14-8) trail the Schooners by 1½ games in the NECBL's Southern Division.
