WESTERLY — Westerly Middle's girls cross country team picked up two wins Tuesday at the Bradford Preserve.

Westerly beat Curtis Corner, 17-46, and Compass, 15-50.

Erin vonHousen finished first in the 1.9-mile race in 12:08. Teammate Cali West was second (12:35), and Emerson Federico finished third (13:17).

Westerly's other scorers were Allyson Faubert (fifth, 13:23), and Natalie Newhouse (sixth, 13:24).

In the boys race, Westerly defeated Compass, 25-34, but lost to Curtis Corner, 19-44.

Elias Sposato placed second in 11:31. Other scorers for Westerly were Brock Crowley (11th, 13:01), Connor Makin (17th, 13:38), Chris Buehler (22nd, 14:21) and Colton Barrese (23rd, 14:21).
