WESTERLY — Westerly Middle closed its girls cross country season with a pair of wins in the McCoy Cup Rivalry Run Thursday at the Bradford Preserve.

Westerly put the first five runners across the line against Stonington and St. Michael's.

Erin vonHousen was first on the 1.9-mile course in 12:15. Other scorers for Westerly were Cali West (12:34), Aine McManus (12:54), Emerson Federico (13:08) and Allyson Faubert (13:32).

In the boys race, Stonington defeated Westerly and St. Michael's. Westerly's Elias Sposato won the race in a time of 11:34.

Other scorers for Westerly were Chris Buehler (sixth, 13:01), Brock Crowley (seventh, 13:02), Kyle Andrews (ninth, 13:07) and Connor Makin (10th, 13:13).
