WEST GREENWICH — Rachel Federico had her best game of the season, scoring 19 points, grabbing 14 rebounds and blocking six shots to lead the Westerly Middle girls basketball team over Exeter-West Greenwich, 43-25, on Thursday, keeping Westerly's hopes for a playoff berth alive.

Ava Tenuta contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and four blocks, and Gia Keegan had four points and five steals for Westerly (5-5, 4-3 Western Division). Alex Stoehr added five points, four steals and four assists, and Kaylee Lamb had five rebounds and four steals.

Westerly next hosts Chariho on Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.
