MANSFIELD CENTER, Conn. — Sophie Tetreault pitched a complete game and struck out 16 to lead the Wallingford 8-10 All-Star softball team over Groton/Mystic, 9-3, in the finals of the state tournament Thursday.

Jaedyn Steffens and Leilani McCoy each had two hits for Groton/Mystic, and Jillian Fugere struck out five in a complete-game effort from the pitching circle.
