WATERFORD — Stonington's 12U All-Stars lost to Mystic, 6-4, on Sunday and were eliminated from the District 10 Little League baseball tournament on Sunday.

Mystic was scheduled to play East Lyme in an elimination game on Monday in Waterford. Unbeaten Waterford (6-) awaits the winner in the double-elimination championship round on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Waterford.

Stonington lost to Waterford, 10-1,on Saturday. Evan West had a hit for Stonington.

Three pitchers combined on a two-hitter in Waterford's 3-1 win over Stonington on Thursday.

Jameson Barlow, Carson Gallerani and Griffin Haffey pitched for Waterford. Wyatt Loughleen and Ben Thomas each had hits for Stonington.

Waterford 11U 11, Stonington 3

GROTON — Jax Nolda and Jace Brigham each had three RBIs and the Waterford 11U All-Stars defeated Stonington to win the District 10 title on Thursday at Burrows Field.

Winning pitcher Christian O'Connor allowed one hit in four innings.

Kasin McAndrew had a single and played excellent defense in center field for Stonington.
