GROTON — The Pawcatuck 10-12 Little League baseball All-Stars scored once in the eighth and three times in the ninth to defeat New London, 12-10, on Sunday during pool play in the second annual Dominick A. Zuliani Tournament.

Owen Bennett, Bryan Lowe, Patrick McGugan and Camden Ogden each had finished with two hits for Pawcatuck.

Pitcher Cooper Light earned the win. He allowed just one hit and struck out six over the final three innings.

New London scored three runs in the fifth and three in the sixth to send the game to extra innings.

Pawcatuck, which finished pool play with a 1-2 record (both losses were by one run), starts single-elimination play in the tournament later this week.
