NEW LONDON — Kyle Jacobson scored two goals and assisted on two others as the Eastern Connecticut Eagles hockey team defeated the Redhawks, 4-3, at Connecticut College on Wednesday night.

Evan Tower contributed a goal and an assist, and Ryan Huta had a goal for the Eagles. Goalie Rylin Fowler made 11 saves.

Students from Wheeler High and Stonington High are among those on the team.

Eastern Connecticut (10-4-1) next travels to Hall-Southington on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game
