NEW LONDON — The Daniel Hand ice hockey team defeated the Eastern Connecticut Eagles, 4-2, Wednesday night, ending the Eagles' 15-game unbeaten streak at Connecticut College.

Evan Tower and Will Cannella scored for the Eagles. Ryan Huta and Kyle Marino had assists for the Eagles (5-2).

Daniel Hand scored three goals in the second period to take a 4-1 lead.

Rylin Fowler had 16 saves  for the Eagles.

The Eagles next host Housatonic-NW-Wamogo-Torrington on Saturday at 1 p.m.
