NEW LONDON — Kyle Jacobson scored two goals as the Eastern Connecticut Eagles defeated Woodstock Academy, 4-1, in a Nutmeg Conference ice hockey game Monday at Connecticut College.

Ryan Huta and Evan Tower finished with a goal and an assist each. Will Cannella contributed two assists.

Goalie Rylin Fowler made 22 saves for the Eagles (5-2, 5-0 Nutmeg Conference).

Athletes from Stonington High and Wheeler High play on the team.

The Eagles next host Daniel Hand on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
