WEST HARTFORD — Evan Tower had two goals and two assists, Ryan Huta had two goals and one assist and Will Cannella scored twice as the Eastern Connecticut Eagles beat Hall-Southington, 8-4, on Saturday at Veterans Memorial Rink.

Kyle Jacobson contributed one goal and three assists, while Ashton Baltes had a goal and an assist. Trent Hughson and Jake Verbridge each added an assist.

Rylin Fowler made 22 saves.

Students from Wheeler High and Stonington High play on the team.

The Eagles (11-4-1) next travel to the Newington co-op on Wednesday for an 8 p.m. game.
