POMFRET, Conn. — Woodstock Academy turned back the Eastern Connecticut Eagles, 5-4, in an ice hockey game at the Pomfret School on Sunday.

Evan Tower scored twice for the Eagles. Will Cannella had a goal and two assists, and Steve Turchetta contributed a goal and an assist.

Rylin Fowler made 22 saves.

Woodstock scored the first three goals of the game.

The Eagles (6-8) next face Watertown-Pomperaug on Saturday at Taft School at 7:30 p.m.
