NORTHFORD, Conn. — Lyman Hall's Matt Pettit scored his third goal of the night in overtime to lead his team past the Eastern Connecticut Eagles, 5-4, in a hockey match at the Northford Ice Arena Wednesday night.

The Eagles had tied the game with 19 seconds remaining on a goal by Evan Tower that was assisted by Cade Waters and Ryan LoVetere. The Eagles had pulled their goalie for an extra skater.

Waters scored twice and Steve Turchetta had the other goal. Miles Hinkley had two assists. Will Cannella and Tower had one each.

Rylin Fowler finished with 39 saves for the Eagles (8-9).
