SALISBURY, Conn. — Evan Tower and Steve Turchetta each scored a goal and had an assist as the Eastern Connecticut Eagles hockey team defeated Housatonic, 2-1, Sunday night at the Hotchkiss School.

The win even the team's record at 8-8 and secured a postseason berth.

Kevin Yang also had an assist and Rylin Fowler finished with 21 saves.

The Eagles beat Watertown, 4-3, on Saturday at the Taft School in Watertown.

Tower had two goals and two assists and Will Cannella contributed a goal and two assists. Turchetta finished with a goal and an assist and Fowler made 24 saves.

The Eagles face Lyman Hall on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Northford, Connecticut.
