NEW MILFORD, Conn. — Hanna Laskey had two top-five performances for Stonington High at the State Open gymnastics meet Wednesday at New Milford High.

Laskey finished fifth in the uneven bars with an 8.80 and tied for fifth in the vault with a 9.30. The sophomore was also 41st in the floor exercise (8.25).

Also for Stonington, Katya Torruella tied for 10th in the balance beam (8.55), placed 11th in the uneven bars (8.50) and tied for 27th in the floor exercise (8.55); Lila Rich finished tied for 16th in the beam (8.35).

Woodstock Academy won the team title with 142.475 points. Farifield Ludlow was second (136.65).
