DEEP RIVER, Conn. — Stonington High freshman Lydia Laskey won the beam and finished fourth in all-around during a meet with Mercy on Saturday at Flip Flop Gymnastics.
Laskey post a 9.0 on beam and had all-around score of 32.5. She was second on floor (8.0) with a score of 32.5. She placed third on bars (8.2) and 12th on vault (7.3).
Stonington finished with a team total of 128.75. Mercy posted a 131.85.
Lila Rich was fifth in all-around at 31.9. She tied for third in vault (8.4), tied for eighth in bars (7.8), fifth in beam (8.3) and fifth in floor (7.4).
Desiree Zaharie placed sixth in all-around at 31.2. She tied for third in vault (8.4), tied for sixth in bars (7.9), eighth in beam (7.7) and eighth in floor (7.2).
Hanna Kaskey finished seventh in all-around with a score of 30.6
She tied for sixth in vault (8.3), finished 10th in bars (7.3), 10th in beam (7.6) and fifth on floor (7.4).
Katya Torruella contributed an 8.3, good for sixth, on vault and took second in bars (8.75). She did not finish the meet due to an ankle injury.
Abby Remmert finished tied for eight in bars (7.8) and seventh on floor (7.3).
Stonington next hosts Fitch on Saturday at noon.
