WEST WARWICK — Helena Hall-Thomsen won three events, including two in record times, as the Westerly High girls track team placed fourth at the Class B track championships Saturday.

Hall-Thomsen placed first in the 100 (12.4), the 200 (25.3) and the 400 (56.89).

The 100 time exceeded the previous school record of 12.54 by Emma Santee in 2017. Her time in the 400 was a meet record.

Caelan Holdredge won the 300 hurdles (46.32), and Megan Albamonti topped the field in the javelin (136-6).

Holdredge's time improved her previous school mark of 46.79 last season. Albamonti's throw was a meet record.

Westerly finished with 86 points. South Kingstown won the meet with 108.75, Portsmouth was second (101) and Barrington placed third (88.25).

Sydney Federico placed second in the 200 (26.20) and third in the 400 (59.34).

Anna Cozzolino finished second in the javelin (114).

Westerly's 4x400 relay team of Cozzolino, Federico, Burke and Hall-Thomsen won the race in 4:06.90.

Hedy Goodman, Abbey Keegan, Madison Lorello and Kata Cummings finished fourth in the 4x800 relay (10:28.29).

Westerly will next compete in the Mount Pleasant Invite on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Conley Stadium in Providence.
