LEBANON, Conn. — Stonington High defeated Lyman Memorial, 7-0, in an ECC out-of-division girls tennis match on Thursday.

Since Lyman only had nine players available, the teams agreed to play five singles matches.

Singles winners were No. 1 Maddie Hamm, 6-0, 6-), No. 2 Holly Foster, 6-3, 6-1, No. 3 Chloe Morehouse, 6-0, 6-0, No. 4 Grace Milne, 6-0, 6-0, and No. 5 Mia Lewandowski, 6-0, 6-0.

Amelia Caron and Cassie Onorato won at first doubles, 6-1, 6-1, and Erin Motherway and Katie Johnstone prevailed at No. 2 doubles, 6-0, 6-0.

Lyman dropped to 0-3. Stonington (4-0) next travels to Woodstock on Friday for a 4 p.m. match
