STONINGTON — Stonington High's top two singles players remained unbeaten as the Bears defeated Fitch, 5-2, in an ECC Division I girls tennis match Wednesday.

No. 1 Maddie Hamm prevailed 6-2, 6-3 and Ainsley Johnstone was a 6-2, 6-2 winner. Both players are 3-0.

Holly Foster earned a win at fourth singles (6-2, 6-0).

Amelia Caron and Cassie Onorato won their match at first doubles (6-2, 6-1). They are also 3-0.

Katie Johnstone and Chloe Morehouse won 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

Fitch is now 4-1, 0-1. Stonington (3-0, 1-0) next travels to Lyman Memorial Thursday at 4 p.m.
