GROTON — Stonington High shuffled its lineup a bit and defeated Fitch, 7-0, in an ECC Division I girls tennis match Tuesday.

Freshman Mia Lewandowski moved up to singles play and earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 4.

Chloe Morehouse and Grace Milne played together in doubles for the first time this season and won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2.

Stonington is still playing without singles players Ainsley Johnstone, who is injured.

Other singles winners were No. 1 Maddie Hamm, 6-1, 6-2, No. 2 Alison Marsiglia, 6-3, 6-3, and No. 3 Holly Foster, 3-6, 6-1, 6-3.

Amelia Caron and Cassie Onorato won at No. 1 doubles, 6-2, 6-1.

Sydney Motherway and Erin Motherway won at No. 3 doubles, 6-1, 7-5.

Fitch is 9-5, 1-5 ECC Division I. Stonington (12-1, 4-1) next hosts Ledyard on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.
