NORTH STONINGTON — Four Wheeler High players scored goals, but the Lions lost to Griswold, 11-4 in an ECC Division III girls lacrosse game Tuesday.

Gracie Anderson, Daniela Roy, Leah Pion and Moira Mason each had goals for Wheeler. Anderson contributed two assists, while Katelyn Melinosky and Roy had one assist apiece.

Wheeler trailed 4-0 at the half. Sarah Spracklin made 14 saves in her first game in goal.

Griswold improved to 6-4, 3-2 ECC Division III. Wheeler (1-7, 1-7) next travels to Montville on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. game.
