WESTERLY — Lauren Dobson scored six goals as Westerly High closed the Division II girls lacrosse regular season with a 17-7 win over Smithfield on Monday at Augeri Field.

Westerly (10-1, 10-1 Division II) will be the top seed in the D-II tournament and host a game sometime this week. The date, time and opponent have not been finalized.

Kata Cummings scored three goals and contributed two assists. Carly Chretien also scored three times, and Grace Armstrong had two goals and four assists.

Ashley Amato finished with two goals and an assist, Diana Turano had a goal, and Abby White an assist.

Westerly won 24 of the 26 draws. Cummings won 16 of those. Lexus Falcon made six saves.

Smithfield dropped to 4-6, 4-6.
