PROVIDENCE — Westerly High's Helena Hall-Thomsen won the 300 meters and teammate Sydney Federico was second during the Headley/Sweeney Performance girls indoor track meet on Saturday at the Providence Career & Technical Academy.

The meet is the final opportunity for athletes to turn in qualifying performances for the state meet on Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. at PCTA.

Hall-Thomsen finished in 41.70, and Federico was next in 42.48.

Caelan Holdredge placed third in the 55 hurdles (8.91).

The 4x200 relay team of Nina Cillino, Federico, Holdredge and Hall-Thomsen was second (1:48.52), just .14 seconds behind North Kingstown.

Abbey Keegan, Madison Lorello, Anna Nyberg and Ashley Amato finished second in the 4x800 relay (10:28.83).

Sadie Benn, Cillino, Keegan and Hedy Goodman took sixth in the 4x400 relay (4:24.26).
