PROVIDENCE — Helena Hall-Thomsen won the 600 and ran on two first-place relay teams to lead the Westerly High girls indoor track team to a third-place finish at the Medium Class championships Saturday at the Providence Career and Technical Academy.

Hall took first in the 600 with a time of 1:37.18, the second fastest in school history. She combined with Caelan Holdredge, Sydney Federico and Nina Cillino to win the 4x200 (1:49.78), and teamed with Holdredge, Federico and Hedy Goodman to take the 4x400 (4:11.08).

Westerly scored 51 points to finish third. Barrington was first with 118, and Portsmouth was second (67).

Federico was second in the 300 (42.39), and Holdredge was third in the 55 hurdles with a school-record time (9.07) for the Bulldogs.

Also scoring were Alex Mitchell, who was fifth in the long jump (15-06); Kata Cummings, sixth in the 1,000 (3:22.01); and the fourth-place 4x800 team of Cummings, Goodman, Abbey Keegan and Madison Lorello (10:25.18).

Westerly next competes in the Elite Performance meet on Saturday at PCTA.
