NEW LONDON — Stonington High picked up a pair of ECC out-of-division girls cross country wins Tuesday as New London and Plainfield did not field full teams.

Stonington (5-1) won twice by 15-50 margins.

Stonington's Lily Anderson covered the 3.1-mile course in 21:56 to finish first overall.

Other scorers for the Bears were Sasha Oakes (second, 23:20), Marin Singletary (third, 26:14), Audrey Fuller (fourth, 26:57) and Marley Cannon (fifth, 27:54).

Stonington next competes in the Wickham Invitational in Manchester, Conn., on Saturday. The time of the race has not been finalized.
