EAST GREENWICH — Jenna Burke finished seventh and Westerly High was fourth in the Injury Fund Carnival girls cross country race on Saturday.

Burke covered the 3.1-mile course in 21:12. Westerly competed in the Roy race, one of four run on the day.

Westerly finished with 116 points and Barrington was first with 34.

Other scorers for the Bulldogs were Maddie Lorello (11th, 21:44), Anna Nyberg (19th, 22:26) Abi Turano (43rd, 25:15) and Emma Turano (69th, 29:32).

Westerly opens the season on Sept. 10 hosting Narragansett and Prout at the Bradford Preserve at 4 p.m.
