UNCASVILLE — St. Bernard limited Wheeler High to 10 points and defeated the Lions, 44-25, in an ECC Division IV girls basketball game on Tuesday night.

St. Bernard (6-9, 2-4 ECC Division IV) led 21-10 at the half.

Annie Dussault led Wheeler in scoring with 12 points, including three 3-pointers. Sam Caster contributed six points and six rebounds. Leah Pion led the team in rebounding with seven.

Wheeler's Molly Butremovic left the game with an injury in the second quarter and did not return.

Wheeler (4-11, 1-5 ECC Division IV) next travels to Tourtellotte on Friday for a 5:30 p.m. game.
