WESTERLY — Jaime Murray scored a career-high 12 points and the Westerly High girls basketball team downed West Warwick, 68-37, in a Division II game Wednesday night.

Murray finished with two 3-pointers. West Warwick (10-10, 7-8 Division II) focused its defensive efforts on center Megan Albamonti, leaving other Westerly players open on the perimeter.

Murray took advantage of the opportunity.

Albamonti still finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Lauren Dobson added 11 points, and Alexa Beal led the team with 13 rebounds.

Westerly held a 15-point lead at the half, 31-16.

Westerly (14-6, 13-3) is off until Wednesday when it hosts rival Chariho at 7 p.m. in the final game of the regular season.
