WOONSOCKET — Westerly High limited Mount St. Charles to 14 points in the second half and beat the Mounties, 53-31, in a Division II girls basketball game Monday night.

Megan Albamonti finished with 12 points and 21 rebounds for Westerly.

"The double-teamed Megan, but we just kept moving the ball around," Westerly coach Sue Haik said. "Once we started getting up and down the court and attacking the basket, it worked out well."

Carley Bowen made two 3-pointers and finished with eight points. Lauren Dobson also had eight points. Alexa Beal contributed eight rebounds.

Katie Lynch led Mount (7-11, 4-10) with 24 points. Westerly (13-6, 12-3) next hosts West Warwick on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
