NORWICH — Olivia Monte scored three goals and Ellie Korinek contributed a pair as Stonington High shut out winless NFA, 8-0, Monday in an ECC field hockey match.
Stonington (11-2-1, 10-0-1 ECC) will host East Lyme on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to decided the ECC title. The Vikings are also 10-0-1 in the league.
The two teams tied, 1-1, on Oct. 3. Overtime was not played due to EEE restrictions. Last season, the two teams played to a tie in the ECC tournament title game.
Stonington has won six straight since the tie with East Lyme.
Dillon Griscom contributed a goal and two assists against NFA (0-14, 0-11). Alex Fidrych and Sam Harris also scored.
Kaira Wiltshire, Sarah Flakus and Maddie Mendez each finished with an assist.
Stonington outshot NFA, 25-1.
