STONINGTON — Rhys Hammond finished first in two events as Stonington High edged Windham, 79-71, in an ECC Division III boys track meet on Wednesday.

Hammond was first in the 800 (2:02.3) and the 1,600 (4:36).

Justin McKenna won the 200 (22.7) and was second in the 100 (11.3).

Ben Abely took first in the 100 (11.2) and second in the 20 0 (23.2).

Robert Lewis won the pole vault (9-0) and was second in the 300 hurdles (45.2).

Greyson DelGrosso won the javelin (142-7) and was third in the discus (106-0).

Lucas Falcone won the discus (116-4).

Elias Dahl was second in the 3,200 (10:59) and third in the 1,600 (5:05).

Sam Montalto placed second in the 400 (53.4) as did Jacob Davis in the javelin (114-5).

Martin Vernet placed third in the 100 (11.4) and the 200 (24.1).

Third-place finishers were George Limberakis 300 hurdles (46.4), Lucian Tedeschi long jump (17-2), Harrison Rose triple jump (33-7) and Sam Light pole vault (8-6).

Andrew Castagliuolo, Jason Morse, Max Wojtas and Ethan Allen-Fernandez won the 4x800 (9:15.3).

Montalto, Abely, Vernet and McKenna combined for first in the 4x100 (45.0). Wojtas, Castagliuolo, Montalto and Hammond took first in the 4x400 (3:47).
