SOUTH KINGSTOWN — Westerly High's 4x800 relay team finished first in its race at the Southern Division boys track championships Tuesday at Curtis Corner Middle.

Aaron Tallardy, Sam Lutzel, Tanner Kelly and Sean Rafferty combined for a time of 8:32.65 to win the race.

Dylan Ada was second in the triple jump (38-5). Aaron Tallardy placed fourth in the 800 (2:02.46).

Westerly's 4x400 relay team of Tallardy, Lutzel, Adrian Medina and Aiden Faubert finished third (3:41.82).

Westerly placed seventh among the 10 teams that scored with 28 points.

North Kingstown won the meet with 185, and South Kingstown was second (149.5).

Westerly will next compete in the St. German Invitational in West Warwick on Saturday at 10 a.m.
