WARWICK — Westerly High won every match in straight sets and beat winless Pilgrim, 7-0, in a Division III boys tennis match Thursday.

Pilgrim forfeited second and third doubles.

Singles winners for Westerly were No. 1 Blake Busch, 6-4, 6-2, No. 2 Ryan Teixeira, 6-0, 6-0, No. 3 J.D. Dauphinais, 6-0, 6-0, and No. 4 Brandon Larossa, 6-0, 6-0.

Joel Henry and Kyle Cioffi combined for a win at No. 1 doubles, 6-0, 6-1.

Pilgrim is 0-8, 0-8 Division III.

Westerly (7-2, 7-2) will compete in the state qualifying tournament on Friday at Slater Park in Pawtucket at 3 p.m. Busch is the No. 4 seed in singles.
