GROTON — Stonington High won every match in straight sets and defeated Fitch, 7-0, in an ECC out-of-division boys tennis match Wednesday.

Singles winners for the Bears were No. 1 Jake Stiger, 6-0, 6-0, No. 2 Will Michelson, 6-0, 6-0, No. 3 Sean Bessette, 6-1, 6-4, and No. 4 Nathan Gonzalez, 6-3, 6-1.

In doubles, Graham Johnstone and Kyle Remmert combined for a win at No. 1, 6-0, 6-2. Quinn Hamilton and Filip Aubrecht won at No. 2, 6-3, 6-1, and Justin Johannsen and Jack Ramsdell prevailed at No. 3, 7-6 (3), 6-2.

Fitch dropped to 8-4.

Stonington, which suffered its first loss of the season on Tuesday (to East Lyme), moved to 13-1. The Bears next travel to New London on Thursday for a 3:45 p.m. match.
