SOUTH KINGSTOWN — Rhys Johnstone won two events and the Westerly High boys swim team defeated South Kingstown, 50-44, at the University of Rhode Island on Monday.
Johnstone was first in the 50 freestyle (22.69) and the 100 backstroke (58.34).
Madigan Hiltz was first in the 200 free (2:01.68) and second in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.55).
North Infante finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:18.43) and second in the 500 free (5:38.85).
Brandon Larossa was first in the 100 butterfly (1:04.10).
Ryan Imhof was second in the 100 fly (1:05.37) and third in the 500 free (6:02.65).
Third-place finishers were Gregory Hopkins (200 free, 2:29.16), Jensen Lund (100 free, 1:00.62) and Brayden Champlin (100 breast, 1:22.54).
Johnstone, Hiltz, Larossa and Spencer Bernat finished first in the 200 medley relay (1:50.64).
Bernat, Larossa, Infante and Johnstone won the 200 free relay (1:39.55).
Bernat, Lund, Infante, and Hiltz took second in the 400 free (3:50.25).
Imhof, Champlin, Michael Esposito and Lund finished third in the 200 free (1:50.61). Champlin, Lund, Imhof and Esposito took third in the 200 medley relay (2:06.37).
Westerly is 3-0 overall and in the Rossi Division. SK dropped to 2-2, 2-2.
Westerly next faces Moses Brown at Rhode Island College on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
