WESTERLY — Cranston West scored the game's only goal with about 24 minutes left and topped Westerly High, 1-0, in a Division II boys soccer game on Monday.

Cranston West (2-0, 2-0 Division II) outshot the Bulldogs, 9-4. Westerly did have a shot hit the crossbar on a free kick.

Westerly goalie Jonathan Turano made five saves.

Westerly (0-3, 0-2) next hosts Hope on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
