NARRAGANSETT — Narragansett used a strong second half to come back and defeat Westerly High, 12-11, in a Division III boys lacrosse game Monday.

The Bulldogs led 8-5 at halftime, but the Mariners (5-0, 5-0 Division III) outscored the Bulldogs 7-3 the rest of the way, including 5-2 in the third period.

Mark Buckley finished with four goals and one assist, and Ben Morrone had three goals and four assists to lead Westerly (5-2, 5-2).

Rhys Johnstone added two goals, and Shaye Passell and Madigan Hiltz each scored once.

Both teams finished with 16 shots on goal. Bulldogs goalie Brandon Tallardy made four saves.

Westerly next hosts North Providence on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
