LINCOLN — Westerly High scored the only two goals of the fourth quarter but couldn’t catch Lincoln in a 7-6 loss Monday that featured two unbeaten teams in Division III boys lacrosse.

Lincoln (5-0, 5-0 Division III) trailed 4-3 in the second half when it reeled off four unanswered goals to take a 7-4 lead. Mark Buckley and Ben Morrone both scored in the final period for the Bulldogs (4-1, 4-1), but it wasn’t enough.

Buckley finished with three goals and one assist, and Morrone had one goal and four assists.

Joe Fusaro and Rhys Johnstone each added a goal, and Aaron Keegan had an assist as the Bulldogs finished with a 15-10 advantage in shots on goal. Goalie Brandon Tallardy made three saves.

The Bulldogs next host Mount St. Charles on Wednesday at noon.
