WESTERLY — Westerly High limited Toll Gate to two goals in the second half and topped the Titans, 9-4, in a Division III boys lacrosse game Monday at Augeri Field.

Westerly's Ben Morrone scored four of his five goals in the first half as the Bulldogs built a 5-2 lead.

Westerly (10-2, 9-2 Division III) scored four of the first five goals in the second half to lead, 9-3.

Morrone, who has 45 goals this season, also contributed a pair of assists. Mark Buckley finished with two goals and two assists, Rhys Johnstone had a goal and an assist, and Brandon Chretien scored once.

Joe Fusaro and Mike Garafola added assists.

Westerly won 100 percent of the faceoffs in the game.

Toll Gate is 6-4, 6-4. Westerly next travels to St. Raphael Academy on Tuesday for a 3:30 p.m. game
