WESTERLY — Mark Buckley scored five goals and assisted on four others as Westerly High defeated Providence Country Day/St. Raphael Academy, 16-4, in a Division III boys lacrosse game Wednesday night.

Ben Morrone contributed two goals and six assists, Brandon Chretien contributed three goals and an assist, and Rhys Johnstone scored three times.

Joe Fusaro added a goal and two assists, and Aaron Keegan and Jack Morrone each scored once. Keegan also had an assist.

Westerly led 7-1 at the half and 14-3 after three quarters.

PCD/SRA dropped to 5-4, 4-4 Division III. Westerly (10-2, 9-2) next travels to Burrillville on Monday for a 4 p.m. game. Burrillville sits atop D-III with an 11-0 record.
