PROVIDENCE — Aaron Tallardy finished second in the 600 and the Westerly High boys indoor track placed fourth in the Class B meet Saturday.

Tallardy turned in a time of 1:25.34, just .02 seconds behind Classical's Max Schmidhauser at the Providence Career & Technical Academy.

Westerly finished with 52 points. Classical won the meet with 105 and Barrington was second with 66.

Joey Guarnieri was second in the 300 (37.07) and fifth in the 55 dash (6.93).

Nick Turo finished third in the 1,500 (4:14.84) and fifth in the 1,000 (2:43.25).

Nick Cozzolino was sixth in the 3,000 (10:06.24).

Colby Makin, Jake Serra, Sean Rafferty and Tanner Kelly combined for second in the 4x800 (8:38.24).

Guarnieri, Adrian Medina, Aiden Faubert and Tallardy finished second in the 4x200 (1:37.56).

Faubert, Medina, Brandon Tallardy and Luke Marley finished second in the 4x400 (3:41.93).

Westerly next competes in the state meet on Saturday at PCTA at 11 a.m.
