PROVIDENCE — Westerly High's Tanner Kelly finished second in the 600 at the boys junior varsity state indoor track championships Wednesday night at the Providence Career & Technical Academy.

Kelly finished with a time of 1:32.04.

Westerly's 4x800 relay team of Sean Rafferty, Colby Makin, John Turo and Jake Serra placed fourth (9:01.01).

Westerly finished tied for 12th among the 26 teams that scored with 12 points. Bishop Hendricken was first with 69.

Westerly's varsity will compete in the state meet on Saturday at 11 a.m. at PCTA.
