BOSTON — Stonington High's Rhys Hammond finished fourth in the 1,000 at the New England boys indoor track championships Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center.

Hammond covered the distance in 2:32.26. Miller Anderson of William Hall High in West Hartford, Connecticut, won the race (2:30.12).
